Figuring out how to lose weight is a challenge for many people all over the world, particularly considering that the quickest path to weight loss is different for everyone. There are so many products on the market these days that deciding which ones will work for you is a challenge. Is it possible that the pharmaceutical companies and these diet manufacturers are intentionally making sure you never stop using their diet products? Isn’t it a fact that they will go out of business if these products were effective? Imagine the millions of dollars in revenue they rake in year after year because we are fat and desperate to lose weight. If these products are effective, then why is it they don’t help you stay slim permanently?

It is time to take matters into your hands. How, you may ask. Just follow a few easy steps outlined here and you will lose weight – Guaranteed.

Stop eating fast foods. They are not good for you. They are usually fried, greasy, and high in sodium, fat, sugar and also processed with chemicals. Many of them are disguising themselves as “healthy foods.” They’re not. You are better off buying your own fresh vegetables and preparing your own salads.

Don’t buy Frozen Meals. We live such busy lives that it is easier just to grab what somebody else has cooked or some big company has mass produced. Do you know what is in it? Do you have any idea the amount of sodium, food additives and preservatives that go into such foods? Don’t kid yourself with labels like “low fat”, “low carb”, “lean cuisine” etc. Lean cuisine is not lean at all other than the portion.

Cook your own meals: this cannot be stressed strongly enough. If you make it a habit to prepare every meal from scratch, using fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits etc, not only will you be able to maintain a healthy body weight, you will also avoid many diseases. Healthy living strengthens your immune system to fend off many illnesses.
A muffin or doughnut and coffee for breakfast, a burger and fries for lunch, pizza for dinner. And you wonder why you are fat and unhealthy?

Exercise regularly: If I say exercise I am not talking about anything strenuous like jogging or aerobics etc. When I joined an aerobics class sometime ago, I was able to lose 5lbs very quickly, within the first two weeks or so, and that was it. As hard and as much as I exercised nothing happened so I went back to what I was doing before and that was walking. This is something I enjoy and therefore able to do it on a regular basis. That is the key, it should be an activity you like, to be able to do it all the time and not feel that you are working.

If you put all these easy steps into practice there is no reason why you won’t lose weight.
